I'm looking for a Christmas song which I think was alternative. Came out around 2005-2010. One guy was the singer but I think he had a band playing different instruments. Today at work, I heard this lovely, lovely song. It sounded almost like something from the Bauhaus. All I remember were the words "I dare you", or "dare you" in the chorus. It wasn't the Switchfoot or Shinedown songs I found when I googled it, either. It's going to be bugging me forever if I don't find out!

I know there is a song entitled that by German goth Autumn band called that, but I'm 90% sure I've heard the word somewhere else. Google only turns up hits for the song. I believe it may be based in fantasy literature. Perhaps someone here would have insight into this matter?
